About Freya

Freya is a jeweller and silversmith whose work captures the fragility of our planet and the durability of precious metals.

 

After graduating from the University of Brighton (2020) where she discovered her passion for metalwork, Freya continued on to train at the prestigious Bishopsland Educational Trust where her skills were refined.

 

Originally from Milton Keynes, she is currently based at The Bench Ltd. in Glasgow. Freya’s work is driven by research into the environmental impacts of the precious metal and fashion industries, aiming to make powerful, insightful wearable pieces through ethical sourcing and traditional techniques.
